We try our upmost to encourage and promote services users to lead independent and busy lives.
Service users wash and dry their own clothes at least once a week or more regularly if required.
Everyone has takes it in turns to cook, if interested, with staff working with service users to develop safe cooking practices. Family meal times are considered important for discussing daily life and practising social skills. All meals are planned nutritiously with service users direct input and staff's encouragement of health meal options.
We work hard to promote good hygiene care both personal and in the home from the service users.
Service users are encouraged to look after their own money using banks and building societies to manage financial matters effectively. If necessary management will hold valuables for safekeeping and record all transactions. Staff support service users with budgeting and weekly shopping.
Service users are enabled to create positive interactions within the local community and participate in a range of activities.
